WHERE CAN I TAKE A CLASS?

Classes are held regularly (monthly) at Crockett Crockett County EMS located at 168 N. Bells St Alamo, TN 38001 usually on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. We also offer special scheduling options and we offer on-site instruction options where we come to your site.

WHAT DO I NEED FOR CLASS?

We provide all required instructional material for class. Student workbooks are optional and available for purchase through AHA and other outside vendors.

HOW DO I PAY FOR CLASSES?

We accept cash, Venmo, Cashapp for in-person or online payments. 
*Instructors can pay through our Square invoicing program.

WHICH CPR CLASS SHOULD I TAKE?

For those working in the health care field, or in school/clinical/work setting we recommend the standard BLS certification. For those individuals wanting personal training (not in a health care setting) the Heartsaver program is for you.

HOW DO I BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR?

The instructor path starts with certification in the discipline you want to teach. Once you are certified, there is an online class offered by AHA that you must complete. Next, we offer an instructor class to teach you how to lead AHA classes. There is a skills check you must pass and then you will be monitored leading a class by yourself. Once you have demonstrated competency in teaching, your instructor path is complete and you can now lead AHA CPR classes.
